Welcome to Puerto Espíritu! These are the general terms and conditions that apply to all our retreats. After booking your place, you will receive a detailed document outlining the exact terms for your specific retreat, including inclusions, exclusions, and other important information. These specific terms must be reviewed and signed before participation.

 

Waivers & Release

By participating in a Puerto Espíritu retreat, you agree that you are solely responsible for your own health and safety throughout the retreat. The facilitators will not be held liable for any injuries or damages related to your participation. You assume all risks associated with the program in any and all ways.

 

You agree to inform the facilitators of any movements or activities that may cause you harm and refrain from performing any activity or treatment that you feel is likely to result in injury. Should you have any limitations or medical conditions that may affect your practice, please notify the facilitators beforehand. You are encouraged to treat your body with patience and respect and can stop and rest at any time.

 

By attending the retreat, you release Puerto Espíritu and its facilitators from all liability for any injuries sustained as a result of your participation.

 

Retreat Participant Agreement

You acknowledge that Puerto Espíritu, its facilitators, and partners are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity that may occur during the retreat. This includes, but is not limited to, issues such as vehicle defects, acts of God, terrorism, war, natural disasters, accidents, and any changes in the retreat itinerary or services. You agree to assume all risks associated with your participation in the retreat.

 

You also acknowledge that Puerto Espíritu is not responsible for any loss or damage to property (including luggage), or personal injury during the retreat. It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance, including cancellation, property damage, and accident coverage.

 

Puerto Espíritu reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability. If a participant is deemed disruptive to the harmony of the retreat, they may be expelled from the event without refund.

 

The retreat facilitators will not be responsible for any participant who leaves the retreat early or engages in any activity outside the official retreat schedule.

 

Inclusions & Exclusions

The specific inclusions and exclusions for each retreat will be published on the retreat’s dedicated subpage and terms and conditions.

 

Photo Waiver

You grant Puerto Espíritu and its facilitators permission to record your participation in the retreat through photographs, video, or other media. You consent to the use of these images for promotional, educational, and any other lawful purposes without compensation or further consent.

 

These photos and videos will remain the property of Puerto Espíritu, and you waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished product. You also waive any right to royalties or compensation arising from the use of your image in these materials.

 

Conduct

Puerto Espíritu aims to ensure all participants have a safe, enjoyable, and harmonious experience. All participants are expected to behave in a socially acceptable manner and respect the well-being of fellow guests, facilitators, and staff. Should any participant’s behavior be deemed disruptive or harmful to others, Puerto Espíritu reserves the right to remove them from the retreat without refund.
